Tasting Notes:

  • Eye: Dark bronze with a very pronounced reddish cast
  • Nose: Vibrant fruit aromas of peach, apricot, raisins, cola, and pineapple drizzled in honey
  • Taste: Sultanas, dried apricots, caramel toffees, vanilla, Madeira cake, vanilla, and honey.
  • Finish: Well balanced and quite refined

Additional Notes:

  • Initially aged in a bourbon cask for 10 years
  • Followed by nearly 5 years in a red wine Syrah barrel from France’s Rhone Valley
  • Distilled at 46% ABV
