Tasting Notes:
- Eye: Amber.
- Nose: Citrus notes of mandarin and candied apple, white pepper, nutmeg, hazelnut chocolate, and toffee with sweet vanilla and toasted wood aromas.
- Taste: Caramelized apples and orange zest with waves of creme brulee mixed with pot spices, and cereal undertones as well as a medley of fruits and spices.
- Finish: Rich and lasting finish in which the grains and pot spices are the first to softly fade allowing the oak to finish it off.
Additional Notes:
- A combination of whiskey aged between 12 and 33 years and matured in lightly charred ex-Bourbon American oak barrels.
- Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman crafted a balanced blend of rare and hand-selected single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys from Midleton’s exclusive inventory to create this truly special reserve.
