Red Breast Kentucky Oak Edition

Tasting Notes:

  • Eye: Amber.
  • Nose: Opens with notes of freshly cut cedarwood, almond, and vanilla. Sweet fruit and warming charred wood influences complement the pot still spices.
  • Taste: Cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove build over time working in tandem with the oak’s rich tannins. Autumnal fruit notes delicately linger with sweet and decadent notes of brown sugar, toffee, and vanilla.
  • Finish: Fruits are the first to slowly fade, leaving the pot still spices to linger in harmony with the sweet and intricate American oak.

Additional Notes:

  • Matured in American Bourbon barrels and Spanish Oloroso butts.
  • Finished in hand selected air-dried American Oak from the Taylor family farm in Kentucky.
  • Red Breast is owned by Irish Distillers and made at the Jameson Distillery Midleton in Midleton, Irleand.
  • Distilled at 50.5% ABV
