Tasting Notes:
- Eye: Golden.
- Nose: Nuttiness from the Oloroso Sherry, dried fruit, and tangerine.
- Taste: Sweet on top and moves into a mellow, warming, spicy finish. Dried fruits, toasted almonds, rummy honey, and chocolate.
- Finish: Warm…..sherry and oaky.
Additional Notes:
- This limited edition whiskey is the third in the Founder’s Reserve unique finish series.
- The release is limited to 9 sherry butts (casks) and will yield just over 8,000 bottles.
- It is triple distilled in copper pots then aged in American oak barrels, then finished for 12 months in the Oloroso cask.
- ABV: 46%
