West Cork Bog Oak Charred Cask

Tasting Notes:

  • Eye: Color is really light. Viscosity is thin, and leaves virtually no legs
  • Nose: Spice, dried leather with a sweet dried fruit undertone
  • Taste: Intense Spice, malt, and cracked pepper
  • Finish: Charred Oak, smoke flavor

Additional Notes:

  • Aged for six months in bog oak-charred casks, after being aged in Sherry wine casks for a time
  • 100% malted barely
  • Distilled at 43% ABV
